Friedhelm Loh created the Rittal Foundation to mark the company's 50th anniversary. The owner and CEO of the German supplier of enclosures and systems committed five million Euro to the foundation.
The income from the foundation’s capital fund will be distributed annually and donated to social and cultural institutions local to the various Rittal sites, including international locations.
Friedemann Hensgen, has chaired the Foundation since April 2015, supported by Markus Betz, chairman of the Rittal works council in Herborn and Dieter Scherz, auditor from Siegen. The foundation's Council also includes Friedhelm Loh himself and his wife Debora; Kerstin Gerbig, Managing Director of GWAB mbH; and Georg Müller, Medical Director and board member in Humedica and founder of the Humedica Forum Hessen.go to website
